The 1194 different ACS are divided into Knowledge tasks and Skills tasks, for General, Airframe, and Powerplant.
We start with Knowledge tasks to pass the Written Exams. Later we will focus on Skills tasks for the Practical Exams.

How the amt-x Pathway works
You can get experience from working in aviation-related jobs. You can use that experience from the military, or civilian aviation, to apply to the FAA for authorization to take the same A&P written, oral, and practical exams that an AMT student from a formal A&P school gets to take on graduation.
We help you with the process of getting your FAA signoff to take exams, prepare for the exams and pass them. Here is a checklist for the AMT-X pathway.
Computer based sample exams help you get ready for the (3) FAA Written Exams – General, Airframe and Powerplant.
Once you take the General, Airframe & Powerplant Self-Evaluations, we can Assess your Readiness for the FAA Interview and FAA Form 8610-2 Signoff.
The FAA signoff is your ticket to the (3) Written Exams, and then the Oral and Practical Exam.
